Rob Driessen can provide appraisals for insurance, division, sale or benefaction. Different aims require different appraisals; e.g. the insurance value of a work of art should be valued considerably higher than its auction estimate. In order to give an accurate appraisal, a valuer has to posess thorough theoretical and practical knowledge. The TMV (Dutch Federation of Valuers, Brokers and Auctioneers) sees to it that its members are kept up-to-date with the newest developments and regulations within the art market. Thus, appraisals by a registered valuer are accepted by insurance companies, notaries, auction houses and other professional institutions.
For appraisals, an hourly fee will be charged.
